I got the latest FX rates for the SGD/USD and SGD/CAD pairs from Maybank (21 Sep 07). As you can see, CAD is almost reaching parity with its bigger USD cousin at 1.51~ish. It was also reported in the papers that CAD briefly overtook USD on Friday, 21st Sep.

Someone commented that the interest rates for AUD & NZD are higher than SGD and asked whether to convert SGD to AUD/NZD and park the money in foreign currency fixed deposits (FCFDs). These are my thoughts.
